Summer food festival launches Friday, June 26, at Lake Perris Fairgrounds

There won’t be many county fairs this summer. But there will be fair food.

The Southern California Fairgrounds and Events Center in Perris is launching a summer food truck festival this Friday, June 26.

It’s called the SoCal Fair Drive-in Food Festival and will include such vendors such as Fried A Fair, Totally Baked, and Pink’s Hot Dogs, according to a news release from the Southern California Fair.

Hours are 4-8 p.m. Friday, noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Attendees will be required to wear facial covering when not eating to avoid the spread the COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

The 2020 SoCal Fair was scheduled to run Oct. 3-11, but has been postponed until 2021 due to coronavirus pandemic.

The venue is at 18700 Lake Perris Drive, Perris.

Parking is free.
