Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle has listed his home for $ 3,134,700, but he isn’t fading away from Big D. According to Candy’s Dirt, Carlisle and his wife are simply moving uptown.
This French-style home is located in the high-end area of University Park, a suburb of Dallas. As you would expect, the house is Texas-size at 5,935 square feet. It has five bedrooms and five full bathrooms—and the master bathroom is the MVP.
The master bath features tiles designed by Ann Sacks, and the vanity countertop, shower, bath trim, and floors are resplendent with white-and-gray marble. There’s a walk-in spa shower and an air-jet tub, all underneath what looks to be a crystal chandelier. Dallas, we love your commitment to excess.
White oak floors complement the wood-beam ceiling and trim on the first level of the two-story home. The subdued colors create a rustic feel throughout the home, which was built by Woldt Homes just eight short years ago.
The granite-and-limestone kitchen is equipped with Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Asko appliances. After you polish off meals cooked in the double ovens (or built-in microwave, if you’re feeling lazy), you can pile the dirty plates into the dual dishwashers.
This house has all your needs covered. Like booze? Great, there’s a wet bar. Don’t drink? Cool, there’s a dry bar. Want an occasional bottle of wine? You can stick it in the wine cooler. Like to work at home? There’s a beautiful office with built-in bookshelves and, naturally, a chandelier.
Outside, you can cook dinner on the grill or over the fire pit. You can also relax under the pergola or on the patio. It’s a good way to blow off some steam—this might have spared Carlisle a $ 25,000 fine for yelling at the refs last month.
But Carlisle could look at the bright side: A profit from this sale will likely cover that piddly fine.
