According to the listing, the property is one of the largest parcels of land for that community. The pastoral setting includes a 6,500-square-foot, seven-bedroom home with nature views out of every window. The house is surrounded by paddocks, a 10-stall barn, a chicken coop with a henhouse, a vegetable and citrus garden, and a vineyard with 550 grape vines.
Listing agent Dana Olmes declined to discuss the details regarding the property.
The gated community was likely an added draw for the 22-year-old songstress. TMZ pointed out that she had several break-ins at her previous Toluca Lake residence.
The traditional ranch-style home built in 1954 was purchased by the Woodbridge Group for $ 4,037,000 as a tear-down, but it wound up selling the property for $ 5 million about a week later to the singer’s Sunshine Girl Trust.
“We bought it with the intention of ripping it down and building a 10 to 15,000-square-foot mansion there,” Woodbridge Luxury Homes President Bob Shapiro says.
But the group didn’t need to do much more than list the property before it was snapped up by the entertainer. “It’s such a beautiful property,” Shapiro says.
It looks pretty nice to us: The home features a loft-style great room, wide-plank wood floors, a gourmet kitchen, a wet bar, and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar. The sprawling property will give the former Disney star plenty of options for rest and relaxation. In addition to horseback riding, she could hang poolside or enjoy the spa and outdoor fireplace.
The controversial entertainer who brought twerking to the masses is in good company in Hidden Hills. She can borrow a cup of sugar from any of her celeb neighbors: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West; Jessica Simpson; the rapper Drake; and “American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez.
