If every man’s home is truly his castle, that explains what we’re seeing in this week’s most popular homes on realtor.com®. Brick and stone are a recurring motif throughout the list, and this week’s most-clicked home is an actual castle. It doesn’t have a moat, but it costs only $ 375,000 to be the king. Small victories!
Make sure to check out No. 2 on our list—one picture doesn’t do it justice. It’s a Disney-themed “palace” in a Las Vegas suburb. There’s no word on whether the knickknacks and artwork will convey with the sale, but we insist the buyer must not paint over the shark from “Finding Nemo.”
The ultimate palace in Beverly Hills continued its reign for the fifth straight week, moving up three slots from last’s weeks No. 6 position. And a converted red-brick bank building in Cumby, TX, also made a return appearance from last week’s list.
Turning away from the regal residences dominating interest, St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina‘s noncastle in Illinois slid into our No. 5 spot. And thanks to the No. 4 house, we learned there’s a town in Louisiana named Tickfaw. It feels good to say “Tickfaw” over and over. Give it a shot while you review our Top 10.
