A blufftop, oceanfront house on the grounds of the Montage Laguna Beach has hit the market – with a $ 45 million pricetag.

Built in 2010, the house has 9,500 square feet of living space, with five bedrooms, a floating staircase, full bar, home theater, gourmet kitchen and a glass-encased, commercial-grade wine cellar.

Interior highlights include illuminated onyx, wenge wood and mosaic tile. Glass walls open to outdoor spaces, including an infinity-edge swimming pool and a lanai with a one-story waterwall.

The residence, on a third of an acre, is one of 13 private home sites at the resort. The buyer gets access to the hotel – and can ring for the concierge, housekeeping and room service.

John Stanaland of HOM Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.

The home is not the priciest one for sale in the city.

Twin Points, an estate with two headlands extending hundreds of feet into the Pacific Ocean, is on the market for $ 75 million.
