Denise Gibbs, Oceans Property Management founder and chief executive officer, will join Seabreeze as vice president.
Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach joined Associated Luxury Hotels International, an independent global sales organization. Other Orange County ALHI hotels include Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, Island Hotel Newport Beach and The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast. Set to open in early 2016, Paséa Hotel & Spa will be located across from the Huntington Beach Pier. Features include 250 rooms and suites, 34,600 square feet of meeting and event space, a spa, courtyard, surf instructors and a rooftop deck. R.D. Olson is the developer; the hotel will be managed by Pacific Hospitality Group. Both are based in Irvine.
Hanley Investment Group, an Irvine-based boutique real estate brokerage and advisory firm, has completed the sale of a 23,000-square-foot, single-tenant triple-net leased retail building in Buena Park. The off-market, $ 6.5 million transaction closed escrow in less than 24 hours. Hanley Investment Group’s executive vice president Eric Wohl represented the buyer, a private investor from Beverly Hills. Carlos Lopez, senior vice president at Hanley Investment Group, represented the seller, which was an entity of Santa Ana’s Red Mountain Retail Group. Hanley Investment Group works closely with individual investors, lending institutions and developers.
Aliso Viejo-based Seabreeze Management will acquire Oceans Property Management in Dana Point. Denise Gibbs, Oceans Property Management founder and chief executive officer, will join Seabreeze as vice president. Seabreeze has been in business for 27 years.
Holly Cindell, project director at Newport Beach-based McCarthy Building Companies, received the 2015 Superior Performance in Real Estate Award in the category of Women in Commercial Real Estate. Commercial Real Estate Women-Orange County presented the award during the fourth annual CREW-OC SPIRE Awards ceremony at the Center Club in Costa Mesa on Feb. 26. Cindell has worked in the construction industry for more than 27 years. As project director for McCarthy Building Companies, she is responsible for the overall management of projects for the Southern California division. Her most recent project was St. Jude Medical Center’s northwest tower project in Fullerton, which opened in November 2014. In addition, Cindell formed the organization, Women in Construction Operations with 10 founding members. The organization was founded to provide support and mentorship to women in construction operations.

Mark Hughes is the new chief operating officer for Irvine-based First Team Real Estate, a brokerage with a sales network of approximately 1,700 agents. Hughes has served in the company as senior vice president of operations for 15 months. Before working as SVP, he served as the office manager in First Team’s Long Beach office.
Jose Sanchez is the new vice president of asset management at Jamboree Housing Corp. in Irvine. Before joining Jamboree, Sanchez worked as chief financial officer with Eagle Real Estate Group in Costa Mesa. Jamboree is a nonprofit community development organization that specializes in affordable housing for working families, seniors and people with special needs.
Real estate law firm Cox, Castle & Nicholson will participate in the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation’s 17th annual Reaching for the Cure Run & Ride Event as a title sponsor. The fundraising event will take place March 29 at Irvine Valley College. The Los Angeles-based firm has locations in Orange County and San Francisco.
