Among other highlights are a basetball court, large veranda and spacious loggia with a fireplace and a flat screen TV.

The pricetag: $ 4.598 million.

In 2013, he listed a 7,600-square-foot Shady Canyon house. He recently bought a $ 1.7 million home in Castle Rock, Colo., the real estate website said.

A 1997 graduate of University High School in Irvine, Atkins was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the fifth round of the amateur draft in 2000.

Atkins spent seven years with the Rockies and a season in Baltimore before retiring in 2010. He played first base and third base during his career.
