Pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler has a new way to roll. This summer, the 25 year old bought an ocean-view, Tuscan-style house in San Clemente, his hometown, for $ 2.5 million.

Built in 2003, the house near T-Street Beach has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. A large great room with high ceilings combines formal dining with a family room and leads to a large, center-island kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a pantry.

A spacious patio, two built-in barbecues, a fireplace and spa fill out the backyard.

The house was offered in May at $ 2.6 million. The sale closed in late June. Scott Kidd and Christian Wach of HOM Sotheby’s International Realty handled both sides of the deal, revealed on TMZ Sports this week.

Sheckler has won seven X Games medals, including gold in 2010 and 2003. At age 16 he got his own television series on MTV, “Life of Ryan.”

He started rolling on a skateboard in his driveway at 18 months old, according to his website, and by the time he hit age 4, he could do ollies – a maneuver in which the skater kicks the tail of the board down while jumping, to make the board pop into the air.

At 7 years old, he got a mini-ramp in the backyard and began skating every day.
